Are leading and lagging indicators moving together? If not, the most likely explanation (Chapter 27):
- Normal lag — practice is up, rounds flat. Expected in weeks 2–6. Stay the course.
- Transfer problem — practice at benchmark, rounds flat. Diagnose with a Decision Journal round; check routine consistency.
- Skills trading off — some areas improving, others declining. Rebalance the 60/25/15 allocation.
- Plateau — everything up but slowing. Rebuild your Player Profile at the new level.
